My great grandmother was a painter in the later years of her life. She mostly did still life's of flowers and such. I decided to try my hand at it. The shallow lights along with the absence of all the details kind've make you wonder about why the lights are low and the ettiquette of the people back in that time. Who has a bowl of fruit next to freshly cut flowers anymore? We're the definition of a more simpler yet sophisticated people? Ya we're smarter, but we take a lot for granite.
I've always had a minor fear of drowning in the ocean because you can't see the bottom. Isn't that everyone's far though?? The unknowing?
There was a time where I felt that I was doing absolutely everything to help friends and acquaintances while I didn't take care of myself. I constantly pushed others to better themselves and I kind've faded into the depths of not knowing what to do nxt. Thankfully I realized what path i was going down and decided to change for the better. And here I am now trying to reach out to others and letting them know that there are people out here that truly understand what in the hells going on!!

I was asked by a few people to do a replica of my vietnam painting that I did a year or so ago. I was kind've hesitant because I wasn't sure if I could make it look exactly the same. I came to realize that it doesn't have to look the same. I added and took out some more things throughout the painting. It's the same idea but with a twist. I feel that even if it is a replica your getting something totally new. This is almost finished.
I love how I added a creepy tone just by using these colors. I accidentally used a little too much water in the paint making the trees look like they were dripping, and to my surprise I think it looks great. Having them drip makes the painting look bleak and mysterious. I'm still working on the statue owls and the walls. I'm going to make the walls cracked and crumbling. let me know what you guys think.
Hummingbirds remind me of my mom, so it's only practical that I would do a little something like this number. I wanted to emphasize on the dark and bright colors being as my mother loved those kind of paintings that I did. There are three hummingbirds and I will define them more as I shade everything.

trying to do a different scheme. Cartoons are always fun to play around with especially since there are no limits. Just started this one a few days ago and plan to finish it tonight
This one is Layered Thoughts. The first one I did was a very detailed pencil drawing a few years ago. Then I did a paintings which sold a few days after I completed it. Until recently I was asked to do a replica and have decided to do a few replicas of my favorite detailed drawings and paintings. Of course this one isn't quite done. I have yet to put more details and hidden pictures into it. I like to put contrasting colors together to make that pop effect. For example, The light blue/teal will have orange and yellow details in it. I would love any feedback

Another detailed painting, one of my firsts of course. I helped a few friends through their problems
This is one of my favorite paintings. It is a tribute to Vietnam veterans. If you look at it closely you can see a war seen~ tanks, bombs, helicopter, and soldiers hidden all around. If you step back from it you can see a soldier calling for help on a phone/walkie talkie while shedding a tear. Soldiers that came back from Vietnam were treated with so much disrespect being called baby killers and such. The soldiers didn't have a choice, they had to do what they were told to survive out there.
